In the world of employee benefits, having a benefits hub is like having a treasure trove of valuable information right at your fingertips. It’s not just a static Open Enrollment tool that’s dusted off once a year; it’s a dynamic and versatile year-round resource that can revolutionize the way your employees engage with their benefits. If you’ve been underestimating the power of your benefits hub, it’s time to think again.

Supercharge Your Hub Experience

A Benefits Hub is a great way to get an abundance of information out to employees in a timely and efficient matter. Some of our favorite features include the ability to:

  • Access it from any device
  • Make changes mid-year
  • Increase accessibility
  • Reorganize pages
  • Link out to other sites
  • House important documents
  • Track utilization

There’s so much to love!

Get It Done Right: The Initial Release

Think of your benefits hub as a canvas that’s waiting for your creative touch. It’s a site where your benefits programs can be showcased and explored.

Pick a theme. The choices you make early on can set the tone for the entire experience. Choose a theme that resonates with your company’s identity, color scheme, and culture. This not only makes your hub visually appealing but also reinforces a sense of belonging among your employees.

Set up navigation. Navigational structure is key. It’s like designing a roadmap that guides employees through their benefits. Grouping plans logically and incorporating user-friendly features like links, dropdowns, and breadcrumbs can transform a potentially overwhelming maze of information into a clear, guided path.

Make it accessible. By embracing user-friendly accessibility, such as keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and resizable text, the hub ensures that all individuals, regardless of their abilities, can seamlessly engage with its content. Additional features include closed captioning for videos, clear heading structures, and high contrast options, catering to diverse needs, from visual impairments to hearing difficulties.

Link to documents. Make use of the Hub’s ability to not only link out to sites but host important documents too! All the information your employees need can be put in one easy-to-access spot! (That’s why we called it the “Hub”!)

Evolve with the Times: Mid-Year Updates

Your benefits hub isn’t just a fixed document; it’s a site that can adapt and evolve alongside your benefits offerings. Mid-year updates are a breeze, allowing you to introduce new benefits and remove outdated ones. The spotlight on your home page can also be adjusted to align with your current priorities.

Add new benefits (and remove old ones). If you’ve recently added a benefit, or removed a benefit from your offerings, it’s easy to adjust the pages.

Update a highlighted benefit. The home page is a great way to get employees to see the benefits you want to promote most. If that’s changed, we can update it to match!

Check your Hub stats. Harness the power of data by tracking hub usage. This data isn’t just numbers; it’s the key to understanding your employees’ preferences and needs.

Discover valuable insights like:

  • Site and page views
  • Document downloads
  • Time spent per page
  • Pages viewed per session

When It’s Needed Most: Open Enrollment

When Open Enrollment season rolls around, your benefits hub takes center stage once again. Update it with the latest enrollment details and create a buzz with an eye-catching Open Enrollment banner. A “What’s New” page can guide employees to the changes you’ve made and help them find the updated details with ease.

Grab some attention. If you have a call center or benefits concierge, now’s the time to make it front and center for employees to easily access.

Showcase what’s new. Give your employees a heads up on the things you’re changing and help lead them exactly where they need to go to enroll or make changes during Open Enrollment.

Create next year’s pages. If you’re changing medical carriers or plan numbers change employees may need to reference their old plan and their new plans at the same time, a toggle between the two can help reduce confusion.

The Takeaway

With features that offer convenience and accessibility, a well-used benefits hub can be a game-changer. It’s not just a resource; it’s a valuable tool that reduces stress for both your employees and the HR team. By tapping into its full potential, your benefits hub can become the cornerstone of your benefits communication strategy, enhancing employee satisfaction and engagement.

2023 Net Promoter Score

What Does This Mean?

Providing the highest level of hospitality is important to us. Surveys give us the feedback we need to continually meet this goal. We’re pretty proud of our Net Promoter Score (NPS). Here’s why:

What Is NPS?

NPS is based on the percentage of survey respondents who are promoters, passives, and detractors:

  • Promoter: Score of 9 or 10
  • Passive: Score of 7 or 8
  • Detractor: Score of 0 to 6

Scores range from -100 to 100. The higher the score, the higher the percentage of promoters versus detractors.

What Is a Good NPS?*

Above 0: Good
Above 20: Favorable
Above 50: Excellent
Above 80: World Class
