BTA pays you or your loved one an accidental death and dismemberment (AD&amp;D) benefit if you are accidently killed or injured while traveling on a company assignment, including local business travel.<\/p>\n<p>Coverage is equal to up to three times your annual salary, to a maximum of $1,500,000. Your dependent spouse is covered at $25,000 and your dependent child(ren) are covered at $10,000. The benefit amount paid is determined by the type of injury received. Certain exclusions apply. For example, you cannot receive a BTA benefit for any injury for which you are eligible to receive Workers\u2019 Compensation.<\/p>\n<h2>Other BTA Benefits<\/h2>\n<p>Your BTA policy includes other benefits, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Family Relocation:<\/strong> A benefit is paid if your spouse or child suffers a covered loss at any time during a relocation trip while covered under the policy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Commutation:<\/strong> A benefit is paid if you suffer an injury while commuting to or from work.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Family Travel:<\/strong> A benefit is paid if your spouse or child suffers a covered loss while on an authorized trip with you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The benefit amount is determined by the type of loss incurred.<\/p>\n<h2>Supplemental Benefits<\/h2>\n<p>Additionally, your BTA coverage includes supplemental benefits. These supplemental benefits provide coverage for things like bereavement counseling, day care, education, medical emergency evacuation, rehabilitation, and other costs associated with a covered accident.<\/p>\n<p>This is just a summary of benefits.
