The Back Story
ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ACADIA) shares a passion for improving the lives of patients with central nervous system (CNS) disorders. Their vision is to become the leading pharmaceutical company dedicated to the advancement of innovative medicines that improve the lives of patients with CNS disorders. In pursuit of this passion with many successes along the way, ACADIA has been required to grow and increase staff at their corporate location and across the United States.
The Human Resources Department anticipated this growth and chose a proactive approach. While benefit communications are paramount, ACADIA realized that their internal communications would need to cover a full array of topics and be delivered through a multitude of channels. The solution involved developing a Master Services Agreement between ACADIA & CPI, which would allow the Human Resources Department to call on CPI as the needs arise through the course of the year.
The Human Resources Department can quickly sign a Statement of Work and the CPI Team is immediately working on the task at hand. Recent examples of tasks include developing an HR Brand & Tagline, Employee Handbook, Relocation Policies, Internal Email Templates and a New Hire Orientation Animated Video. Leading up to Open Enrollment, the CPI Team develops all necessary materials for the coming plan year. At the drop of a hat, ACADIA can quickly access their “communications department down the hall.”
